SEUS PTGI and Molly VX both aim to be more gameplay friendly, opting to function more as hybrid renderers, where they use raytracing to augment existing techniques like shadow mapping.

Jan 7, 2021 · first of all, continuum rt isnt done. its not going to look like ptgi just yet. also, it does look the same as the video. second of all, continuum rt does look good. it has the best ray/path tracing of any shader, and looks really close to irl. the only thing thats bad about it is the underwater, but that will be fixed.
Feb 25, 2022 · Continuum Shaders 2.0.4 not working properly in Nether and underground. So I honestly love these shaders. They're wonderfully flawed - they melt even the highest-end PCs - and ridiculously beautiful, even compared to other heavy hitters like Oceano or SEUS. HOWEVER!

In the shader screen set "Old Lighting: On", and turn off fog inside the shader options. Dude he's not using Distant Horizon in the video. It's not possible.
