Sep 6, 2021 · Yes, in the Dev Channel. And, yes, (the old) Disc Cleanup is in Windows Tools. There is lots of old Control Panel stuff in there. BUT we are trying to put the old CP out to pasture and instead, have things and End Users in Windows Settings, going forward. What is offered in Storage Sense/Usage is much better than the old CP Disc Cleanup.
Nov 18, 2009 · I've been backing up my HP Slimline to a 100 GB "pocket drive". It's now full. I just upgraded to Win 7 from it, a clean install. I have deleted many backed up files that I no longer want. How do I remove the same files from the pocket drive? Will backing up from Win 7 delete the items that no longer exist on my C drive?

Just Remove Files deletes the Files without writing zeros... Mar 13, 2014 · There are a number of things you can do to -- temporarily-- free up disk space. The only real solution, however, is to get a larger internal hard drive (or a second internal drive). A desktop or tower probably will be able to accommodate a second internal drive. A laptop or “all-in-one” (computer built into the monitor) probably will not.
