Blissey (Japanese: ハピナス, Hepburn: Hapinasu) (BLISS-sey [1]) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. Blissey has curly hair on both sides of its head. Its arms are pink with white wings at the end. It has a pouch for its egg, like all of the members of its family.
Blissey is also used as a setup fodder by Steel-types such as Scizor and Cobalion, which are immune to Toxic, and bulky Substitute users, such as Suicune. In addition, a poor Defense stat means that Blissey is vulnerable to the most physical attackers in the tier, such as Mega Sharpedo and Terrakion.
Even the most ferocious Pokémon become calm when they eat Blissey’s egg, which is said to be filled with happiness. Its fluffy fur coat acts as a sensor, enabling it to read the feelings of people and Pokémon.
