Nov 15, 2022 · A test for BBC One South HD has appeared on 12.168 V, looks like the BBC will be using some Sky capacity for some of their English HD regions. Tuning details are-12.168 V, 27.500, 2/3, DVB-S2, 8PSK SID is "1204" and currently showing RTÉ One HD.
Mar 22, 2023 · 22/03/23 - 11:53 #578. digitalbitrate.com has now reported from Emley Moor & Belmont: TSID SID Name 16522 17546 BBC ONE Yks HD. 16527 17551 BBC ONE Yk&LHD. The old SID (17540) still exists and still points to the same PIDs, but is probably inaccessible on most devices due to the TSID change.
Dec 22, 2010 · By saying "on BBC one and BBC one HD", a lot of people will automatically assume the programme will be in HD on the HD channel (unless it obviously isn't, like a 70s sitcom the other day). It CAN be misleading to some, even though they aren't saying anything incorrect and in my opinion they shouldn't mention BBC one HD if the programme is only upscaled.
Dec 21, 2022 · So after about 16 months after this thread was started, the launch sequence has started. BBC One South HD is now on the EPG for Sky and Freesat. For those in the south, BBC One HD is now finally on the right channel number! Other regions to follow in the coming weeks as per the schedule already posted.
May 11, 2014 · Correct, but basically in layman's terms, for Freeview at least, the bitrate changes for BBC One HD depending on the complexities of the pictures of all the channels on that individual multiplex. Aug 13, 2024 · Cable companies were instructed to relay BBC One London HD in the Benelux countries and Switzerland when BBC One HD was replaced by regional variants more recently. Of course 28.2E made it a lot easier for viewers in The Netherlands and Belgium to receive regional news from London rather than Tunbridge Wells. AnotherBox Posts: 2,837.

North West - Native HD with existing shared Breakfast set. (Breakfast moves out later this year). Yorkshire (Leeds): SD with existing set. Yorks & Lincs (Hull): SD with temporary set.
Dec 15, 2021 · The thread has been predominantly about Freeview and regionalised BBC One HD. There was a post about DSAT early on which wasn't 100% and a few posts around sorting that out. Whilst there's been the odd comparison to DSAT/Sky etc, it's only because of the way the BBC is launching Regionalised BBC HD.
Mar 23, 2023 · London was cut from the regional loop of Sunday political shows when BBC One regional HD launched on Sky Stream, BT and Virgin and became a loop of three regions, Yorks & Lincs, North West (native HD) and Midlands. NE & Cumbria has been added a couple of times recently due to work at Newcastle which meant network had to play out Politics North.
