Nov 27, 2020 · CPU Ryzen 5 5600x, Asus Prime 570x Pro mobo, Zalman CNPS 16x air cooler, NZXT H510i case. My idle temps are 24-30C and under load about 56-58C. CPU is overclocked to 4.6GHZ and runs 1.1v-1.2v range.
Jan 29, 2022 · If u can afford 300 to buy the 5600x (msrp) then I’m sure another 20-30 bucks to get a 212 sure ain’t no big deal to get at least 15-20 degrees cooler performance. Not to mention with a more aggressivr fan curve to even hit decent temps it is loud as fuck.
Exit, go to vcore and set from auto to AMD Overclocking, which will take values you setup in curve optimizer. Final product is nice and cool 5ghz Ryzen 5600x. Tested Prime, Cinebench, games like Warzone and Star Citizen (which keeps CPU usage around 60% and 5ghz scramble from core to core)

Jan 17, 2023 · Usually the highest end chips get the best silicon (5900x) and the mid range models (5600x) get the lower quality. Both are still great chips! This is the reason you usually see the high end CPUs have higher boost ceilings and clock rates. AMD has done stuff like this for a long time to save cost and keep their prices competitive.
Its being built from leftover parts from upgrades I did and my friend. But the cpu was the biggest bottleneck, the leftover cpu was a ryzen 3 3100. I know that wont hold in today's world. So I thought of buying a new cpu, im already saving on other parts so. Is a ryzen 5 5600x sufficient for the current gaming market just so he can dip his toe in?
