Founded in 1909 by Episcopalian Bishop Charles Henry Brent primarily to provide for the educational needs of the families of American missionaries and military personnel in the country and in Baguio and its environs where there was a small foreign community of mining prospectors.

Brent International School Baguio was established in 1909 primarily to provide the educational needs of the families of American missionaries and military personnel in the country and in Baguio and its environs where there was a small foreign community of mining prospectors.
The Brent International School Baguio has a multinational faculty, 22 with baccalaureate, and eight with masters degree. Local teachers average six years stay; expatriates average four years. Fourteen faculty members reside in the school. Students come from 12 countries.
