Anita Linda. Actress: Sisa. Anita Linda was born Alice Buenaflor Lake in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines. Her parents were James Lake, an American mining engineer, and Gorgonia Buenaflor of Iloilo. She attended Polo Elementary School and graduated from Good Shepherd Convent High School.
Ms Linda was cast in several dramas, including Ngayon at kailanman (1947) , Anghel sa lupa (1948) , Wala na Akong Luha (1948) opposite Carlos Padilla Sr. , Ang lumang bahay sa gulod (1949) , Kung sakali ma't salat (1949) and Suwail (1949) opposite Reynaldo Dante before Bandilang basahan (1949) saw her paired her with Rogelio de la Rosa.
