May 13, 2021 · This recap of Castlevania season 4, episode 6, “You Don’t Deserve My Blood”, contains spoilers. Isaac’s assault on Carmilla’s castle is one of the better action set-pieces that Castlevania has produced across its four seasons — a large-scale, energetic, and characterful sequence with real character and plot implications.

They could write a good redemption story for Carmilla instead of a miracle happy ending for Dracula where he didn't even seem to regret what he did in the past. So indeed, it would have been better for her not to die there but may be for her and Isaac both lose that fight in some way that their ambitions would fail. 2.
