The Eiffel Tower has that classical feel especially when most of Paris' buildings have that classic architecture. The Tokyo Tower on the other hand may not look as classical as The Eiffel but it fits the futuristic and urban look of Tokyo's skyline.

It's like Le Corbusier all over again, it looks fantastic on the drawing boards but in reality it only works when it's done on a small scale.

I found several elevations online, measured the proportions, and knowing the architectural heigth of 390 meters, i concluded that the floorplans must be about 110x110 meters (!) (about 12.000 sqm per floor).
