Oct 10, 2022 · There is now a new option in the Sims 4 Realistic Childbirth mod for delivering your baby when you call the obstetrician. Pregnant Sims can call their obstetrician in their 2nd trimester and opt for a home birth! Once you’ve selected the home birth option, you’ll want to get the house set up for the delivery.

Feb 13, 2023 · Sims who choose to give birth at home may experience a birth emergency in the new Sims 4 childbirth mod update. Their labour can stall. There is a 10% chance that a pregnancy with a single baby will have a stalled labour at home.
First make sure the mod is up to date and installed correctly. If you still don't see the option to start home birth even though your files are installed correctly, try with just the childbirth mod in your mods folder to see if it is a mod conflict.
