Me. Myself is reflexive: it denotes that the person (me) is doing something to that person (myself) and no other. It's not correct to use a reflexive pronoun unless the recipient of the action is the person doing that action. You can't mix you with myself. You can talk to me. I can talk to myself.

So to say, "Please feel free to hit on me' is like saying, "Please feel free to contact me". Because 'hitting on someone' is a bad thing to do. To invite someone to 'hit on me' is a funny thing to ask. It reminds me of Ian Dury's single "Hit me with your rhythm stick".

Through is only really used combined with "reach me" - so "you can reach me through 0800999999". Not as common in the UK, and it implied that someone else will aswer, but can pass on a message. It would not imply that you could necessarily speak to the person - hence the "reach me" rather than "call me". Share.
