Apr 6, 2024 · When I try to FaceTime my daughter on her iPhone and my grandchildren on their iPad, a message comes up saying I need to sign in to FaceTime. I hit “continue” but it redirects me back to the screen with the camera on me. They are international. I am already signed in to FaceTime, have internet access & can FaceTime ppl here in the states.

Mar 3, 2021 · Hello Cbjorgol, We'd love to assist you with managing your FaceTime app. Although the app cannot be deleted from your Mac, if you are being prompted to sign in, then that means the app is open. You can quit the app by clicking the Apple Menu > Force Quit > Click on FaceTime and confirm the quit prompt. Take care.

Whenever I try to login.. it doesn't work even though it provides me with a code to use through. text. I enter my password plus the code and it just doesn't work. Can anyone help? 😟.
Nov 29, 2018 · This should stop Messages Launching a Start up. Go to System Preferences > iCloud and double check that it is not logged in. IF required then Sign Out (Bottom Left). For FaceTime you will have to specifically open the app then go to the Preferences and untick the "Enable this Account" box to stop it trying to Login in.

If 'searchpartyuseragent' shows it's related to iCloud features and functions in the information window, and you use the same Apple ID for both iCloud and FaceTime on your Mac, consider allowing it to have access.
