Johann Christian Bach war ein deutscher Komponist der Vorklassik aus der Familie Bach, der als Mailänder Bach oder Londoner Bach bezeichnet wird. Er wurde als verkanntes Genie und als „Vater und Erfinder“ der Wiener Klassik bezeichnet. Er hatte insbesondere auf den Stil des jungen Mozart großen Einfluss.
