Otherwise both are pretty much the same. Same brand, same RAM (16gb), nearly the same price (the Intel one is about 25 bucks cheaper).
Jan 14, 2023 · Probably not, as the built-in Radeon 610M graphics is only using two RDNA 2 compute units. You can play most games at 720p low to medium settings, but demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 are too much for the APU to handle. Using the Ryzen 5 7520U for 3D rendering will not be a good experience as well. true.
Jan 26, 2024 · With High graphics the fps is 15-20 ish. With medium it's around 30-40 ish, with low it's around 40-50 ish and I haven't tested minimum. You don't have a gpu. Should be happy with 40fps at medium. It's an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U. I feel like my fps should be higher. Btw I don't have an actual gaming pc with a tower.
Jun 14, 2021 · No personal experience, but the 5500U should be a good upgrade than the 3500U. It's a newer architecture (Zen 2 vs. Zen+), more power-efficient and the GPU should be better too. As you said, more cores, but I'm not sure that it particular would help what you play. The rest will, however.

Sep 2, 2023 · The 1135G7 is noticeably better in terms of singlecore performance, although not the jump in multicore isn't that big. The 5600U ist slightly better in single core and far better in mukticore thanks to it's 6 cores. The 6600U gets a pretty good performance bump and DDR5 memory support.
I am currently split between a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 and a refurbished HP 15-fc0105cl Laptop with similar specs (16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, etc.) and price range. The main difference between the two is that the ThinkPad has a Ryzen 7 5700u while the HP has a Ryzen 5 7520u.
