Situated on the west coast of Ise Bay, Tsu was originally a strategically important castle town, surrounded by Suzuka and Kameyama in the north, Matsusaka to the south and by the ninja homelands of Iga to the west. Tsu has a long history, but the shortest name of any Japanese city. Tsu.
