Our community played an integral part in the War of 1812, as we stood next to Tecumseh and other allied forces, both First Nation and British to hold our ground against invading American soldiers.

  2. The Delaware Nation at Moraviantown has a rich and ancient history. Our original homeland is found along the Eastern Seaboard of North America, specifically, areas known today as New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
