If it still doesn't seem to work, try uninstalling and re-installing. If it's a game bought through steam, you'll install it using steam. Then launch Origin client, select that game in the library.... it'll show a 'download' button still. Click it, Origin will find the steam install and change the button to 'Play.'.

Download the latest version of Origin and install the client - make sure to run the setup file with Admin rights. Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports.

I had the same issue on another computer where OriginThinSetup.exe couldn't detect internet even in safemode with networking, but using OriginSetup.exe worked. EDIT: This issue is solved but now I have a new one, the font for the Origin Client is not installed on my computer, what font is used?

To do this go to: Origin > Application Settings > General > Updates. If this doesn't work, try to enable Safe Mode. To do this go to: Application Settings > Diagnostics > Troubleshooting > Safe mode downloading. I hope this helps.
