I TOLD SUNSET ABOUT YOU (thoughts on the series after Episode 5) LGBT/Western BL. Like many of you, I fell in love with ITSAY from episode 1. Technically, it's the most polished BL series that I have ever seen. The cinematography is the first thing that you'd notice; it captures the beauty of Phuket with the shots and the lighting.

It's breathtakingly beautiful, the chemistry is electric and the storyline is so original and captivating, there's nothing not to love. It's absolutely, 100% going to be in my top ten BLs of 2020!

Jan 9, 2022 · Just because it shows young men who fall in love, that doesn't mean it's a BL. ITSAY is more of an LGBT+ coming-of-age story (a bildungsroman if you know that term) than a BL drama. Of course, lots of people disagree, so YMMV.
