Jun 6, 2022 · Again, Clichy is right outside Paris and it’s a pretty compact city, I think your biggest worry will just be coming back to the hotel from wherever you may be, and since you’re near multiple metro stops (theoretically) and even an RER station (practical regional train that crosses Paris), it really shouldn’t be a hassle at all.

  7. Sep 9, 2022 · Intersting, I’d disagree. We just booked 10 days throughout France the even with the cleaning fee the Airbnbs were quite a bit cheaper. Instead of getting just a bed, a desk in a 15x20 square foot room we get an entire flat. We can come back and watch tv on the couch in the living room after a day of exploring.

  8. Apr 21, 2023 · I had a great experience doing a cooking course in France with the Foodist. We made our own 3 course meal and shopped for food in the Saint Germain market. I think the different kinds of cheeses are a must-taste, actually - brie from Paris is different than brie from elsewhere.

  9. Sep 8, 2016 · As a side-note, Paris (city) and Paris (of Troy) are spelled and pronounced differently in French. The city Paris has the "ris" as it's stress syllable, while the mythological character is spelled Pâris, and "Pâ" is the stress syllable (as indicated by the circumflex accent on A )

  10. Mar 4, 2023 · If you lack inspiration, you can go the « Office du Tourisme » (named « Office du Tourisme et des Congrès de Paris »), they also have a shop. Outside of museums : BRING BACK WINE (like Montbazillac). On that topic, France LOVE food. Paris does not really have traditional culinary specialities, as I said : but it is the exception to the rule.
