Mar 31, 2013 · Berlin seems to be an up and coming city, I know it is a centre for popular modern culture, music, art etc, and now it's become europe's second biggest technology start up centre after London, all these factors combined will surely increase demand for high rise office and residential towers, good times for Berlin, try and break the Anglo and American monopoly on popular modern culture
May 10, 2011 · Wunderknabe. Berlin has 157 Buildings of 50 m or more and 342 of 40 m or more (thats more than Frankfurt). I think another reason for so few highrises or scrapers in Berlin (and Germany in general) is the costs of construction. For the money of one 100 m highrise in germany, you could get maybe 10 or 20 in China.

Sep 14, 2021 · The tower was topic of a meeting of the Berlin construction committee on monday. The overall planning should be completed and the building application is now beeing prepared and should be granted within this year. Covivio is planning to start the construction later this year and to finish in 2023.
May 24, 2024 · Inside the downtown park called "Tiergarten", the Loewen Bruecke or Lions`s Bridge is going to be replaced. the bridge is one of the oldest in Berlin. Designed by Mr. Ludwig Ferdinand Hesse and Mr. Christian Friedrich Tieck in 1838. Inspired by the famous Lions Bridge in St. Petersburg in Russia.
Aug 27, 2024 · Here a picture from the construction in 1877: same location today. In 1910, the colonnades seen here were closed by walls to be used by stonemasons for maintenance of statues. This shortage of space has now been fixed and the colonnades open for traffic: This part was used as interior space.
Feb 14, 2016 · Berlin | Mynd Tower | 134m | In Bau. Interessant, wie der Kaufhof hier um die Grundfläche des Hochhauses bis an die Karl-Liebknecht-Straße erweitert wurde. Das macht mindestens nochmal ein Viertel mehr Verkaufsfläche – bei heute 36.000 qm dann 45.000 qm, man rückt in KaDeWe-Nähe. Wichtiger aber: das Hochhaus!
