Dec 19, 2021 · The film portrays violence as fun and cool. The comic portrays violence as horrific. That’s what I mean by the film revelling in it. Both the film and the comic go about showing that the Watchmen aren't really dealing out justice in a way that would be considered acceptable outside the characters' own minds.

Watchmen may be a story about heroes—however in the loosest sense—but it is very much suited for an adult audience.
Im not big on comics, ive only read the watchmen and spawn. I finished the watchmen however I never finished spawn, so when I say watchmen is the greatest comic IMO it doesnt really hit that hard, but I believe That the watchmen is one of the greatest stories ive ever read, I believe its a masterpiece that deserves 2-3 hour long youtube documented video breaking down the story and the characters.
Dec 16, 2021 · Watchmen 2009 is an adaptation on the original book with the same name. I like the movie storyline with Dr. Manhatten being the thing everyone comes together against vs an alien squid. The HBO series is a sequel to the original book and you only need to know the top level storylines and characters from the book to enjoy.

Yellow jump suits, wouldn't that be silly, hohohowe'refuckingcowards. Watchmen is basically what you'd get if someone wanting to deconstruct Batman asked the right questions. Go balls-out with the comic trappings, cheese it up, create a shameless spectacle, but follow the premise to its logical extreme.

The show was an interesting story to tell but really did not need the Watchmen world to tell it and frankly it was forced. They really had to force Ozymandias and Dr. Manhattan into those boxes to the point where I wondered why they even used Watchmen to tell the story in the first place.
Aug 1, 2012 · extended cut is the director's cut. it shows a bit more scenes that relate to the characters background and motives and is more similar to the graphic novel. the ultimate cut is the same with the cartoons of the legend of the black freighter series that apear in the graphic novel its a long freaking movie 3.5 hours long.
