Jan 6, 2016 · Naturally, like in Franklin Richards' case, the x-gene would be unstable and thus give them powers beyond those of naturally developed mutants due to an extra "push". Though the argument can be made that if the x-gene is the next step in human evolution, it's a drastic step considering the wide diversity of mutant powers of varying levels.

Dec 1, 2021 · I used to think they were going to un-retcon the retcon and then got cold feet because of the MCU, but after Franklin Richards was declared to be not a mutant, I decided that probably wasn't going to happen (because whatever caused the Wanda/Pietro retcon is clearly still going on).
