It's not like Andor S2 or James Mangold's movie are going to have Dave Filoni's creative fingerprints forced upon them. Which is a good thing. Not because there's anything wrong with Dave Filoni necessarily, but because the creative vision of the individual filmmakers should take precedent.

Dave Filoni is NOT the saviour of Star Wars. I've seen many people calling Dave Filoni the future of Star Wars and its saviour even. I heavily disagree with this, imo he's one of the major reasons for its downfall, so lets discuss Dave Filoni. 1.Star Wars: The Clone Wars:
Dave Filoni made a much-loved carton that even die-hard fans will admit is a mixed bag. But the highs for them make the lows easy to overlook. I'm not a fan of his work on the shows really, and I didn't find his episodes of The Mandalorian to be particularly great, but he's definitely warned his spot at Lucasfilm and he seems like a good guy.
Filoni’s work is super overrated. Clone Wars and Rebels have a few well written moments each and people in this subreddit want to talk about his work like it’s the freaking Sopranos. It’s way too fan-servicey, and often times seems like something an 11 year old boy playing with action figures would come up with.

Is afraid to kill his "author's pet" characters (aka Ahsoka) Lots of silly, nonsensical, or "oh right, this is a kid's show" moments. Pros: Good at making fan favorite characters/making Anakin likable.

Feb 15, 2022 · David filoni is overrated an hack and a charlatan, he ruined and contradict George Lucas lore and old EU lore, he nick pick lore from the old eu to fit his political correct small generic formulated watered down poorly written repetitive uncreative canon with no depth. He doesn't respect the eu fans and it's writers.
The man is a god among men. Filoni fucks. Filoni has given us the best Star Wars of the Disney era (Rogue One, Mando, Clone Wars season 7, Bad Batch, Jedi Fallen Order, Andor, Kenobi, etc) and is keeping the franchise alive as Disney ignores George’s original vision. So yes, the majority of the fans love him.
