The ACTRC Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) project seeks to investigate the implementation of the use of the mother tongue (MT) as the medium of instruction (MOI) in grades K to 3 in DepEd schools in the Philippines as stipulated in DepEd (Department of Education) Memorandum No. 74 (DepEd, 2009).
