  10. Jul 28, 2023 · Aegon IV is in my opinion, the worst Targaryen king in all of the dynasty. Robert Baratheon's physical and mental decadence mixed with Joffrey's pointless cruelty. He doesn't have the mitigating factor of trauma and mental illness like Aerys II, nor did he help pave the way to the stability of Targaryens like Maegor.
