The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt is a state university that looks back on over 200 years of history. There are more than 9,000 students and 200 professors at our two sites in Würzburg and Schweinfurt, which are situated approximately 40 kilometres apart.
At the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS), we offer 42 degree programmes in the most varied of disciplines. Whether visual design, social sciences, languages, business, or MINT subjects (mathematics, informatics, natural science, technology), the options are endless.
At the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS), we offer more than 40 degree programmes in the most varied of disciplines. You are able to complete an entire full-time programme, or to spend one to two semesters here as an incoming exchange student from another university.

With campuses in the cities of Würzburg and Schweinfurt, THWS offers a diverse range of educational opportunities to more than 9,300 students.
