Project X. COMEDY. "Project X" follows three seemingly anonymous high school seniors-Thomas, Costa and J.B.-as they attempt to finally make a name for themselves. Their idea is innocent enough: let's throw a party that no one will forget, and have a camera there, to document history in the making… but nothing could prepare them for this party.
Synopsis. In Pasadena, high school students Costa and J.B. plan to throw a party for their friend Thomas's birthday, aiming to increase their popularity. Thomas's parents go away for the weekend, leaving him alone in the house, but warn him not to have too many people over, and not to drive his father's Mercedes.
Featuring a cast of talented young actors, PROJECT X documents a high school party that spirals completely out of control. Captured from the cinema verite perspective of the digital cameras at the party, the film follows a young man who simply wants a small get-together for his seventeenth birthday.
