Originally called Curse of Simba, but also known as Voodoo Blood Death, the film was cut by several minutes and released as Curse of the Voodoo in the United States as a double feature with Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster.
There he kills a lion, an animal sacred to the Simba tribe, and is consequently cursed by the tribal chief, M'Gobo. The Simbas capture Saidi, Mike's aide, and when they torture him, Mike also feels the pain.
