Synopsis. While being fitted for a wedding gown, dress model Dorothy Haley complains to another model that she always falls prey to lecherous men like her boss, Mr. Cochran, who tries to get her to go on a drive with him. To ward off her unwanted suitors, Dorothy tells them that her husband is a jealous prizefighter.

A 1930s kitchen sink drama! 1930s_Time_Machine 28 June 2023. This is a beautifully made, poignant drama about a young working-class couple starting their life together in the tenements of 1930s New York. This couple is incredibly normal and that's what makes this film so watchable.
