Burroughs is the only school in Missouri’s six classes that had both its girls and boys basketball teams advance to the final four in the 2023-24 season. Both teams made it to the championship game — the girls placed first and the boys placed second making it a milestone year for the Burroughs basketball program.

May 14, 2024 · Burroughs is an independent, college preparatory school (grades 7-12). Fifteen seniors in the Class of 2024 are National Merit semifinalists. A core curriculum in humanities and STEM is balanced by opportunities in athletics and in the fine, practical, and performing arts.
Tuition for the 2024–2025 school year is $36,300. Other charges — for books, supplemental classroom materials, athletic teams, and field trips — can cost more than an additional $1,000 per year. Tuition for the 2025-2026 school year will be set in January 2025.
