Preston "Chubba" Purdy (born July 30, 2001) is an American football quarterback for the University of Nevada. He originally committed to and played for Florida State before transferring to Nebraska. He is the younger brother of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.
Chubba Purdy took snaps at quarterback in six games for Nebraska in 2023, and he started the final two games of the year. Purdy completed 31-of-57 passes for 382 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 29 times for 180 yards and one touchdown. He set career highs in both passing and rushing yards.
