Erik Isaac Morales Elvira (born September 1, 1976) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2012. He is the first Mexico-born boxer in history to win world championships in four weight classes, ranging from super bantamweight to light welterweight .

Born Erik Isaac Morales Elvira on September 1, 1976 in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Morales followed his father’s footsteps into the boxing ring and turned pro in 1993. He won the NABF super bantamweight title before stopping Daniel Zaragoza (KO 11) for the WBC 122-pound title in 1997.
Érik Morales began his professional boxing career in 1993, at the incredibly young age of just 16 years old. He made his debut against José Orejel, defeating him via second-round knockout. From there, Morales went on a whopping 40-fight win streak. During this time, he won 30 fights via stoppage.
