Curt Hahn was born and raised in New England. He discovered architecture at Phillips Exeter Academy and enrolled in architecture school at Washington University. Filmmaking was his other passion and after attending UCLA's summer session in film production, he transferred to film school at the new Disney-endowed California Institute of the Arts.
