Norika SEFA is a Prague-based Kosovan filmmaker. She holds a master’s degree from FAMU in Prague and is a member of the European Film Academy. In her films, she often merges fiction and documentary. Sefa directed the short Desde arriba (2020) under the guidance of Werner Herzog.
Norika Sefa is a Kosovo born filmmaker. Her films are heterogeneous in style, merging fiction and documentary, pieces that create atmosphere rather than stick to a conventional narrative. Recently she made Kiss Me, Now (2020), along with Desde Arriba (2020), two hybrid documentaries.

Her coming-of-age drama was shot in Kosovo with an ensemble cast composed of mostly non-actors.
