  2. With a comprehensive degree in Motion Picture Arts, you’ll emerge as a fully capable creator. Following a year of liberal studies requirements, our two three-year undergraduate programs, live-action and animation, produce well-rounded, career-ready filmmakers.

  3. The Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts (colloquially known as The Film School) is the film school of the Florida State University. About 215 students are enrolled in classes, including undergraduates and graduate students, including Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts students.

  5. The Motion Picture Arts: Production major is a Specialized Admission program. Admission is highly selective. Each class comprises no more than 20 students. Separate applications must be made to The Florida State University Office of Admissions and to the College of Motion Picture Arts.

  6. Established in 1989, the College of Motion Picture Arts is one of only seven university-based film conservatories in the country. In the short time the College has been in operation, it has quickly become recognized nationwide as an outstanding motion picture production program.
