Oct 1, 1998 · 'Seven Stories Into Eight' was the first cassette album IQ released in 1982. Recorded on a Tascam Portastudio 4 track machine the results were a bit rough and ready, but served the purpose of getting the music out to anyone who would listen.
The original cassette "Seven Stories into Eight" occupies volume 2, with all its terrible audio problems - a relic valuable as such, if you will, but the real gem is in volume 1, which comprises the new versions plus one extra old track.
