Frank Ross (August 4, 1904 – February 18, 1990) was a film producer, writer, and actor. Biography. Ross was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of a Dublin-born Irish immigrant tailor, Frank Joseph Ross Sr., and his wife, the former Dorothy Dellano.

FRANK ROSS, a Hollywood film producer, whose movies included THE ROBE, the first wide-screen feature, died on Feb. 18, 1990, at an L.A. hospital, following brain surgery. Frank, who was 85, came to Princeton from Exeter, but left at the end of freshman year, in June 1923.
