Lixi Frank and David Bohun founded Panama Film in 2018 as a result of a joint initiative with directors Stefan Bohun and Sebastian Brameshuber. Our co-production Movements of a Nearby Mountain by Sebastian Brameshuber, won the Grand Prix at its world premiere at Cinéma du Réel 2019 in Paris.
David Bohun, born in 1982, studied production at the Vienna Film Academy. After producing award-winning short- and medium-length films, he co-produced Sebastian Brameshuber’s first feature-length documentary Muezzin (Karlovy Vary Film Festival 2009).

DAVID BOHUN . CEO/Producer. David Bohun, born in 1982, studied production at the Vienna Film Academy. The short films he produced received numerous awards, including the First Steps Award and the Austrian Film Award, as well as a nomination for the European Film Award.
David majored in Production at Filmakademie Wien, where he produced two feature documentaries (Muezzin and Mata Tigre) and three award-winning mid-length fiction films. From 2009, he worked as a production manager for documentary films at Mischief Films.
