Avilon Zoo is a 7.5-hectare (19-acre) zoo located in Barrio San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal, Philippines. It is operated by the Avilon Wildlife Conservation Foundation, which also operated the Ark Avilon Zoo in Pasig .

Tickets are only inclusive of all day entrance to the zoo. Transportation, meals and beverages, animal feeding, and picture taking with animals are NOT included. Babies aged 0-12 months old can enter free of charge.
this zoo is harder to get to because it is about an hour away from manila but is worth the trip though. the animals have pretty spacious and clean habitats (with an exception of the turtles) and every single animal looked healthy! there are signs for each animal with latin names, detailed info and even signs promoting conservation of crocs, etc ...
The place is nice and the animals seemed to be taken cared for unlike the Tigers and Lions we saw in Tagaytay Zoo where they are so skinny. Avilon Zoo is great for the kids, but of course there’s nothing greater than seeing animals in their own habitat- free.
If you’re looking to visit a zoo within or near Metro Manila, I would strongly recommend a visit to Avilon Zoo in Rizal. The 7- hectare (if I remember correctly) is very well-kept and clean and all the animals are healthy.
