The Philippine one hundred-peso note ( Filipino: Sandaang Piso) (₱100) is a denomination of Philippine currency. Philippine president Manuel A. Roxas is currently featured on the front side of the bill, while the Mayon Volcano and the whale shark (locally known as butanding) are featured on the reverse side.
New Generation Currency Series (2010-present) In 1995, a new set of coins and notes was issued. In 2009, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas announced that it launched a massive redesign for current banknotes and coins to further enhance security features and improve durability.
One such improvement is the use of polymer banknotes, which are known to be SMARTER (more secure and sustainable), CLEANER (more hygienic and sanitary), and STRONGER (durable and cost-effective) than paper banknotes. In April 2022, the BSP began the circulation of the new and improved 1000-Piso Polymer Banknotes.

The NGC Banknotes Series feature the BSP logo, iconic figures, Philippine natural wonders, and native fauna, consistent with the design of the NGC Coin Series that highlights Philippine flora. In December 2010, the BSP released the 1000-piso, 500-Piso, 200-Piso, 100-Piso, 50-Piso, and 20-Piso NGC banknotes.
