I thought Anne Curtis would have a third streak of quality films this 2018 succeeding her BuyBust and Sid & Aya but this film Aurora failed my expectations. Anne Curtis is a good actress and Yam Laranas is a good director (he directed one of my most favorite local horror films, The Road) but the film’s story failed them.
And no matter how good the technical elements of a movie may be, if it doesn't have a well-crafted story to tell, it's not a good movie. Because of this, I recommend taking a pass on AURORA. 3/10. Flawed premise, poor storytelling and waste of money! filmreviewph 27 December 2018.
