Orange Coast College (OCC) is a public community college in Costa Mesa in Orange County, California. It was founded in 1947, with its first classes opening in the fall of 1948. It provides Associate of Art and Associate of Science degrees, certificates of achievement, and lower-division classes transferable to other colleges and universities.
Many Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 classes will continue in online formats. Classes will be offered in one of five formats. Check the schedule early and often!
Admission to Orange Coast College is granted to those applicants who meet at least one of the following requirements: High school graduation. Certificate of Proficiency or a G.E.D. from the State of California. Attainment of 18 years of age and who, in the judgment of college officials, is capable of profiting from instruction at our college.
