The North-South Commuter Railway Project is a priority infrastructure project that aims to speed up travel time from Manila to Bulacan with a convenient and efficient means of transportation. From current ninety (90) minutes, the NSCR will cut the travel time from Tutuban, Manila to Malolos, Bulacan down to thirty-five (35) minutes.
Currently, there are two on-going railway projects: the North-South Commuter Railway Project (NSCR) and the Metro Manila Subway Project. DOTr is the executing agency responsible for the delivery of both projects while the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) will be carried out through a PPP modality.
