Erwin Rommel. Johannes Erwin Eugen Rommel (født 15. november 1891, død 14. oktober 1944) var en tysk generalfeltmarskalk. Han var sjef for det tyske Afrikakorpset under den andre verdenskrig, og ble kjent under kallenavnet «Ørkenreven». Rommel var langt på vei selvlært.
