Meatballs, 1979. The late director; Ivan Reitman’s first major hit. It was also the beginning of a great working relationship with Bill Murray. The two would go on to make Stripes and Ghostbusters. I loved the introduction of Chris Makepeace who would go on to star in My Bodyguard.

Forget the sleazy in-name only "sequels". This is the one-and-only, the original. It is a very good-natured and uplifting film.
