The veteran star bagged the elusive trophy for his role in the JTBC drama Beyond Evil as Lee Dong-sik, a washed up detective in pursuit of a serial killer. campionelu Aug 23 2012 1:52 pm I've seen Shin Ha-Kyun for the first time in No Mercy for the Rude and I was very impressed. The film actually became one of my favorites of all time Korean movies (and I've seen many and good ones). Now I just finished watching the TV drama Brain and I must say that Shin Ha-Kyun's performance is outstanding.

He subsequently transitioned to film and gained national fame with his role in “Joint Security Area”. He won the Best Actor award from the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in the crime-thriller series “Beyond Evil”.
