Jake Zyrus (Tagalog:; born 10 May 1992), formerly known professionally as Charice Pempengco (Tagalog: [t͡ʃɐˌɾis pɛmˈpɛːŋ.ko]) and under the mononym Charice, is a Filipino singer and television personality.
In June 2010, it was announced that Zyrus landed a recurring guest role on the hit TV series Glee, playing the character of Sunshine Corazon, a Filipino foreign exchange student to rival actress Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry.
