In 1931, Mr Gabriel DANTON founded the company and workshop MANUFACTURE TEXTILE DU CENTRE in Châtres sur Cher in central France. In August 1935, the head office moved to a store on rue Croix des petits champs in Paris.
Through the ‘70s and ‘80s, M.T.C. regularly supplied DANTON workwear to French public administrations, such as the city of Paris and public utilities such as R.A.T.P. (Parisian metro) and S.N.C.F (French Railways).
