Clariant’s high-performing wax additives for printing inks and toners help formulators to enhance the appeal, longevity and commercial success of their products. Our micronized waxes improve gloss control, rub resistance and anti-blocking behavior in printing inks, and are suited for water- and solvent-based as well as UV-curable systems.
Clariant's three business units are: Care Chemicals (sales of 2320 million CHF in 2023), Adsorbents & Additives (sales of 1057 million CHF in 2023) and Catalysts (sales of 1000 million CHF in 2023). [2]
The Business Unit also engaged in the development of new additives to substitute for persistent, bio-accumulating, and toxic substances (PBT). Clariant’s flame retardant product portfolio, already known for being halogen-free, was further strengthened by improving processability, durability, and electrical properties.
