This board was designed for evaluation and experimentation with Comfile Technology's Cubloc embedded controllers. Users will find many I/O controls (LEDs, push buttons, knobs, switches) and external connectors for interfacing with other peripherals and devices.
The BASIC program part can effect the Ladder scan times, and also there is often a limitation on the BASIC part of the program due to Ladder-logic constraints. CUBLOC is able to cover these weaknesses through its multi-tasking features, guaranteeing accuracy and precision of timing.
The main advantage of CUBLOC is that it fills Ladder Logic’s weaknesses with the BASIC language. Ladder Logic is good enough to replace sequence diagrams, but to collect data, print graphics, and process complex tasks is asking a little bit too much. That is why we added the BASIC language. You can now run both Ladder Logic and/or BASIC!
